The Women’s Committee from Washington County has won its 10th consecutive Outstanding County Women’s Program award. The group was recognized Nov. 30, during Arkansas Farm Bureau’s 83rd Annual Conference at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
Brad Doyle is the 2017 recipient of the Stanley E. Reed Leadership Award from the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation. Doyle accepted the award from Farm Bureau President Randy Veach and Charlene Reed, Stanley’s widow. The award was presented Nov. 29 during the organization’s 83rd annual conference at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

In a unique twist of fate, former Arkansas State University roommates Austin Kennon and Chris Damron earned the top two Young Farmers and Ranchers awards. The two were honored Monday at Arkansas Farm Bureau’s 69th Officers & Leaders Conference at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
The eight district winners in the 70th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program have been selected, representing the diversity of Arkansas agriculture, the state’s largest industry.
